This is our first attempt at making our own wine. Sandy's brother has been making wine for a year or two and has gotten us interested. The grape juice we are using comes from Chile. We ordered it from a distibutor in Pittsburgh. Right now we are at the first stage. Yeast has been added to the grape Must and is in it's primary fermentation. The next step will be to transfer the liquids to 6 gallon glass carboys (winmaking speak for bottles :>) for the secondary fermentation. After that it'll be 6-8 months before it is ready. We are making Malbec and Chianti this first time out. Cheers!
